They still use double-decker buses all over the UK - even in rural areas. They have single-decker buses too.
The bus system is run by companies such as Arriva and Lothian.
Steph says that the bus system in Edinburgh is a very efficient way to get around the city. There certainly seemed to be plenty of buses when we were there. At peak hour, there is an almost continuous line of double-decker buses travelling in both directions along Princes Street.
